STYLIST MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION

Greets Stylists to go over day; Preps stylists’ stations and color trays; Cleans stations in between every client; Checks in with stylists throughout the day; Follows Stylists’ instructions; Communicates with stylists when leaving the floor for breaks, sidework, or other shampoos/blowdrys; Gets all shampoos and blowdrys covered; Helps stylists manage their day and run on time; Is present and alert on the salon floor for stylists needs; Checks out with stylists at the end of day for feedback.

SELF AND TIME MANAGEMENT

Always has watch, pen and paper; Asks questions and stays engaged with the services being done; Performs Shampoos and Blowdrys in a timely manner; Helps stylists run on time; Regularly checks schedule to note any changes; Able to anticipate needs and troubleshoot issues beforehand; Doesn’t need help staying motivated; Needs little supervision; Is able to contribute to Instagram stories at appropriate time; Takes the initiative to work on projects when not busy; Thinks positive, acts positive; Receives feedback well and works to improve.

EDUCATION

If you teach class: Shows up to class on time, prepared and dressed as a stylist. Always has appropriate models. Takes feedback well and applies feedback when given. Is professional with their models. Follows A+A service requirements and keeps salon and workstation clean. Is progressing in class to the best of their ability. Does homework, and works outside of class time to progress.
