After graduating Paul Mitchell Beauty School, Russell has continued his education studying under Toni and Guy, Vidal Sassoon and Redken style educators. Russell has also been educated by top industry color professionals including L'Oreal and Redken artists. Inspired by the classics, combined with an artistic eye for design, this is what guides Russell to his creative approach to precision hair cutting and design. 

Russell is also a Shu Uemura education artist teaching and developing advanced styling and product knowledge classes for stylists. Russell also has also been involved with developing education programs not only for this salon but many others.

Russell has been involved with New York Fashion week for several seasons and has worked with designers including Monique Lhuillier, 3.1 Phillip Lim, The Row, Theyskens Theory, Jad Ghandour and Katie Gallagher among others. He has also been involved in editorial photo shoots and featured in several industry publications.
